Brew Roll of Honour, Canadian Forces,
World War I, 1914-1918
Back to Rolls of Honour
Of the fourteen Brews who served in Canadian Forces during World War One,
three died. The following information has been extracted from a
list compiled by the National Archives of Canada,
which holds the records of former Canadian military personnel. Additional data
shown below has been extracted from
several sources, including the Commonwealth War
Graves Commission.
Further information on soldiers' service records can
be found on the website Soldiers of the First World War
- Canadian Expeditionary Force. Most CEF service files contain an average of 25-40
pages and hold information on the units in which a man served,
details on his service and personal details.
Requests for copies of the documents can be made in writing to Personnel Records,
National Archives of Canada, 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Canada, K1A ON3, or by fax on
(613) 947-8456. There is also an online request form available on their
website.
