Garth Strong, who obtained the above census data, writes, "I couldn't find Troytown on a map but that could be because the alternative name for Iwerne Courtnay is Shroton, which has possibly been mis-transcribed as Troytown."

Beatrice (1887-1963?). My grandfather, Robert, had two sons, Wilfred George (1909-1992) and Geoffrey Robert (1913-1998). My father Wilfred had 4 sons Peter (1936- ) Garth (1942-) Graeme (1947-1960) and Ralphe (1949-). Peter's mother died in 1939 and my father re-married in 1941." He adds, "A few years ago a great granddaughter of George Strong contacted me researching the Strong family. Her name is Elizabeth Rensford and is married to a New Zealander, Brian Rensford.
