4. Clara Rosalie Provost was born in London, England, on 8 October 1843 and died in Victoria, Australia, on 2 June 1907. She married Henry Bannister in Geelong, Vic., Australia, on 9 October 1860. Henry was born in London on 4 March 1839 and died 24 April 1917 in Geelong. They had 8 children:
After Clara Rosalie died in 1907, Henry Bannister married her sister, Claudine Bartlett, by then a widow, in the following year, apparently much to the disgust of many of the family.
