2 Sept. 1916 Commended. Narberth On emerging from a tunnel with a goods train he saw smoke coming from a carriage. He stopped the train and put out the fire with the assistance of the Guard and Fireman. The wagon was loaded with petroleum.
27 June 1921 Suspended 5 days with loss of pay & cautioned. Narberth He left the station and ran 1000 yards without train staff. Note: After bringing train to a stand, Brew committed a further serious irregularity by setting back a short distance to pick up the fireman, who had gone to fetch staff.
