J. Hayter and Co. Ltd., Boscombe, Bournemouth, and shows 41 Squadron aircraft. It originally cost 5/9 (five shillings & nine pence), including purchase tax (ca. 28p in modern UK currency). This magnificent collectors' item was purchased recently (July 2004) by Allan Hillman <allan.hillman@btinternet.com>, who is also the source of this picture. 125 Wing Crest; 41 squadron were at B.56 Evere for one day, then joined 125 Wing at B.64 Diest/Schaffen the following day, 5 December 1944. They stayed with 125 Wing (at B.64 and Y.32 Ophoven) until they moved to 122 Wing on 25 January 1945 at B.80 Volkel, stayed with them for about six weeks, then moved, via an APC, back to 125 Wing at B.78 Eindhoven on 18 March 1945. They stayed with 125 Wing virtually until its disbanding at B.172 Husum on 14 July 1945.
