The biggest problem with the system of birth, marriage and death records in the U.K. is
that it takes hours to go through the huge indexes at the Family Records Centre in London
to find someone to whom you think you may be related, only to find on receipt of the
certificate, and after paying the £6.50 fee, that you have the wrong person. No refund,
no return, money gone, but a 'useless' certificate in the hand.
If you perhaps have a birth, marriage or death certificate for a Brew on your hands,
